abunai & 生日~ (ﾉ> ▽ <)ﾉ♪

i hope everyone's doing well~ ♪

today i have a report on abunaicon and my birthday which followed some days after~!

it's quite a nice ending to my summer break~ 

my classes are starting next week.. on one hand, i'm looking forward to the new year, but i also hope i'll have time to update my blog~

abunaicon was from 23th to 25th of august and as usual i was a volunteer for an organisation called 'ani-nation' which is run by a friend's sister~ we're there to host events/workshops for the con-goers ! 

i'm in charge of the ani-dolls workshop where you can customize your own blank doll with paint markers~ it's really fun and some people come up with amazing designs~!

this year i decided to keep it simple and just went out for dinner with my mum to celebrate my 19th birthday which was on the 1st of september~

oppa gifted me a 3ds and animal crossing.. ~ (；▽；)

i'm so grateful ! ♡ thank you so much~!! 

i've been doing nothing else the past few days.. -embarrassed-

... and then a few days after i got this really sweet letter from georgia wishing me a happy birthday~ 

she included so much pretty gifts.. it really made my day !

and lastly my own birthday haul.. ~ the candy is really nice~ ♪ ♪

felt wool crafts & mail art .:*・°☆

aside from art, i've been looking into all sorts of crafts lately~ ♪

wool felting caught my interest and i was happy to receive my supplies today ! 

i bought a basic needle set, a felt ball tool and some hamanaka felt wool~

can't wait to try it out !! 

here are the craft books to help me start out~ even though i can't read japanese, the photographs, diagrams and patterns help a lot~ (◡‿◡✿)

    there are so many adorable projects~! 

furthermore i'd like to share the latest letter i sent to my lovely penpal georgia and a new piece i drew~

i wanted to picture the joy of going to the post office and sending a letter~

cosy & comfy ✿

i decided to redecorate my room a little this summer~

i'm really pleased with the result so far, but i'm still far from done, haha~

(my bookcase is still a mess, gosh.. ヾ(´▽｀;)ゝ)

i basically reorganised my pinboard and gave it a mori theme whereas it previously functioned as temporary deposit for the most random assortment of things~ (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

and i moved my ancient computer with huuuge crt-screen to the attic which grants me space for my sewing machine~! hopefully i'll get more motivated to learn how to sew now~ (＾▽＾)

happiness is actually very simple~ ♡ 

my personal maxim is now hanging above my desk, hehe~

plus i got new pretty flowers as well ! ✿

last, but not least.. i finally tried out watercolours and it's so fun~!! love the results they give~~

everything here was bought in a zakka shop in wuzhen~ was really happy to find the things which i always was admiring online~ (ノ*゜▽゜*)

believe it or not, me and my mom will be leaving for china the day after tomorrow..

we'll be staying there for one whole month !

i haven't visited my family for ten years, so i'm really excited to see them !!

we'll be going to beijing, shanghai and wenzhou~

hopefully i won't melt due to the immense heat..  (*≧▽≦)

so today me and my best friend lucia went shopping for we wanted to see each other before i left..

it was lots of fun and we both got cute loot for a bargain~!

everything here cost ten euros ! (ノ*゜▽゜*)

the scent sachet is so lovely~ my whole bag smells like fresh cotton now~

i decorated the wooden heart necklace with some leftover lace !

this package was from katrin for the mori girl tea swap i participated in ! this is what i received: rooibos tea with cacao and caramel, chocolate and an amazing watercolour drawing~ katrin, you draw you so well ! ♡
