i'll just continue where i left off, hehe~ next up is an all too familiar subject here on my blog~ the mail update with absolutely lovely letters from my penpals~ ♪ ♪

the following letter is from none other than georgia~ 

she's truly one of the most lovely and creative souls i've ever met ! 

loving the magazine scraps and the stationery is very charming and inspirational~ 

one of her quaint handmade postcards~! super happy with this one, although i will definitely be keeping it instead of sending it into the world~ (✿´‿`)

tammy's art style is the cutest~ ♡ i was a fan ever since i saw her art on tumblr for the first time~ it's still a dream come true to be able to correspond with her~

her doodles make everything magical~! •*¨*✧

i asked her to draw what she liked to eat~ i always like to ask people that question for some reason~i guess i think it says something about you as a person ! 

therefore to remain in the right spirit~

i also discovered this really cute café called 'set genki tei'~ it's pretty small, but the interior design is too cute~! i think it's going to be my standard hang-out whenever i feel like drinking a nice cup of tea~ they also serve homemade calpis and hello kitty cheesecakes~! 

diary of the past month (part 1) ♬♪♫

good afternoon everyone~! it's been awhile~

where do i start~? lots of things have happened in the past month ! that's why i've decided to turn this entry into a photo diary~ i've an unhealthy love affair with my purikura app after all ! ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ

prepare for lots of picture spam~! to maintain some legibility, i've decided to split the entry into two parts~

in october one of my biggest dreams came true ! i got to see one ok rock live with oppa~! taka is so energetic on stage ! ryota, toru and tomoya were absolutely wonderful as well~! i was so happy that they played all of my favourite songs (the beginning, じぶんrock, clock strikes, no scared~) ! i sure hope they'll come back to the netherlands soon !

i have also done more dabbling in crafts featuring needle felting and crocheting~ i hope i'll have more time soon to pursue them properly~ sometimes i wonder if i have too many hobbies ! (◦′ᆺ‵◦)

hehe, i made a bunny out of felt with the aid of a craft book~ i have to say felting is a easy yet incredibly fun craft to pick up~ i can definitely recommend it ! the underlying costs aren't too high either. i purchased a basic starter kit from the brand hamanaka which contains pretty much everything you need~ felt wool isn't expensive either~

aren't they the most adorable pair of kuma's you've ever seen~? ♥(✿ฺ´∀`✿ฺ)ﾉ

oppa gave me them.. i'm soooo grateful~ ;^; when i wanted to buy them, they were already sold out ! they're from the new 'happy natural time' series which is basically rilakkuma x 森ガール !

and look at this super cute plaid~ it'll be sure to keep me warm this winter~! it's really soft and fluffy, haha~ 

i think i'll conclude part 1 here before it gets too messy, haha~ let's move on to a new entry~ (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

this summer i was lucky enough to encounter some earth music & ecology boutiques in china.. 

there was a sale going on where you'd receive a fifty percent discount if you bought three of more pieces.. you can all guess what happened~

all my hard-earned money went poof in a moment ! (´；д；`)

oh well, at least i'm good to go for the time being, haha~

my mom picked out the cardigan for me~

lastly a bag and some socks~

good day everyone~ 

as expected university has been keeping me busy, but i finally found the time to update my blog today ! i've got lots of things to share~ 

let's start with some letters ! ♪♪

this one was sent to my penpal tammy~ 

a close-up of the envelope and postcard~

i drew out a little idea i've been wanting to make for a while~ a memory jar ! i believe i saw the concept floating around and it basically is about keeping a jar which you'll fill with small notes of happy memories, so you can always look back on those great moments.. no matter how small or big ! 

as you can see this one was for the lovely georgia~ ☆

to my surprise the envelopes here are starch white as opposed to a natural brown, so i tried to make it less blanch ! 

she's getting married soon, so i drew her a small celebratory postcard~

 i wish you two all the love and blessings in the world~!! 

as thank you for everything, i got oppa a gift which had to be scribbled on of course~ ♪

and to conclude this post, some art i drew recently~ i'm especially fond of the first one ! ♡

when things are rough, don't dwell too much on them and try to remain positive~ it's very hard at times, but it'll benefit you in the long run !
